Softball – The girls softball team defeated Hernewood yesterday 10-0 in the semifinals. Kenzie Chandler was the winning pitcher. Top batters were Millie Coffin, Regan MacNeill, Kenzie Chandler, and Addison Quinn.  The girls lost to Queen Charlotte in the finals. Jordyn Shea pitched a solid game. Celebration of Nations – Happening today. We hope that you can join us any time between 10:00 and 11:30am in the Cafeteria. Our EAL students have been working very hard on their projects, and there will be over 60 displays. We invite you to come in, look around, and ask questions. We really appreciate your support with this event.

Drama Club held their wrap up on Friday of last week and won two awards for their excellent efforts. There were nine plays entered in the festival and four awards were presented. Stonepark won two of the four awards. 

The first prize went to the play “Interspace News.” Written by students Rory Laird and Jenna Eveleigh. This was the Adjudicator’s award of distinction for a play that created unique and memorable moments during the play.

Flag Football – Grade 7 Boys play tomorrow at (June 4th) at 7:20 at Francois Buote Field and practice today from 3:30-5:00. Grade 8 Boys play tomorrow (June 4th) at 4:30 at the Terry Fox Complex. Please check with your coach about practice today.
