Band Days – Congratulations to both the Grade 8 and Grade 9 Concert Bands on their performances today at PEI Band Days!
The Grade 9 Band started the day performing Danza Zanzare (Dance of the Mosquitos) and Ocean Blue. The band received very positive comments about their solid music foundations, and their mature musicality.
The Grade 8 Concert Band brought lots of energy to the stage this afternoon when they performed Destiny Fanfare and Tu Ungane (Come! Let’s play!). Their programme was fun to listen to and the audience and adjudicators enjoyed both pieces.
The Stonepark Band students were very good ambassadors of their school while they were performing, and while they were respectful audience members of PEI Band Days!
