Tutoring – After school today in the library from 3:30 to 5:00
Lost and Found – Please look at the Lost and Found table underneath the main staircase and retrieve anything that is yours. It will all disappear at the end of the day today.
Science Fair – The Provincial Science Fair was hosted at the Eastlink Centre last week. Congratulations to Stonepark students Jozee Harding and Lauren David who created wonderful projects for the science fair. Both students came home with a specialty prize from Efficiency PEI. Lauren also earned an Honorable Mention as well as specialty prizes from UPEI Physics, IDEALs, and Canadian Parents for French.
Drama Club – Drama groups will be meeting today after school from 3 until 4:30pm. This is a must attend rehearsal. Although Mr. Coleman is not here today, he will be back in time for practice.
School Reach - Congratulations to our Junior (Grade 7 & 8) School Reach teams run by Ms. Burry and our Intermediate (Grade 9) School Reach team run by Ms. Reynard, as they took home the provincial title last week. The teams are now exploring the possibility of attending Nationals in Moncton at the end of May.
School Reach will take place today for Grade 7 and 8s at lunchtime in the Grade 7 science lab, grade 9 will meet in Mrs. Reynard’s room – please bring your lunch.
Badminton – Good luck to the badminton team today as they play in the singles zone qualifiers. We have 12 players playing at 4 different schools. There is a quick badminton meeting at morning break in the gym for players playing today.
Boys Spring Volleyball - there is a tournament tonight at Summerside Intermediate. Team 1 plays at 5:30 and Teams 2 & 3 play at 7:00. Any boys who cannot make it tonight need to let Mr. Roche know right away. Also, could Josh McLean, Darnell Gregory, and Allex Bain please go to Mr. Roche's room right after these announcements.
Uniforms – Basketball Uniforms need to be returned ASAP to Mr. Acorn.
Knits and Stitches will be on again today from 3 to 4 p.m. in Mr. Beck’s room. New club members are welcome to join. We are going to pause crochet for this week and make felt puppies and sock puppets.
Coffee House – Come out for an incredible night of live performances, including our talented Jazz Band, the school choir, and a lineup of amazing soloists as well as our staff band. We’ll also have a Silent Auction with awesome prizes (like Yeti bags and local gift cards), a beautiful Art Auction, and a canteen fully stocked with treats and drinks (including smoothies from HEAL!)!
