Week One - Tuesday, April 21

From the Library – There will be tutoring after school today. 

Drama Club will be having their rehearsal this afternoon. Please meet in Mr Coleman’s classroom at 3pm.  We are getting close to the Drama Festival so make every effort to attend.
During the third period, with teacher permission, could the students that are in “The Camping Trip Gone Wrong” and “Dear Diary” please meet in Mr. Coleman’s classroom.  
Thank you teachers for your patience.  We are about two weeks away from the festival. 

Track and Field – The track team will be training today, tomorrow and Thursday, after school in the bowl. The practice will begin after school and will end at 4:15. 

Table Tennis Tournament – Tier 1 groups will play their round robins today, and Tier 2 will play tomorrow. Please be in the Fit Pit by 12:05.

The ACTT for Life Presentations will continue in Grade 9 classes today. Presentations will take place with students' homeroom teacher in their homeroom class.

Forks for Candy – Stonepark has purchased more forks for the PEI School Food Program. It is important that students return forks to be washed and used again. Students are asked to check their lockers for forks before lunchtime today and return them to the office for a candy during break or between classes. 

School Reach will happen at noon today in the Grade 7/8 science lab – all are welcome – please bring your lunch. Also, we’re sending out a big congratulations to four Grade 8 students – Reid Gallant, Collins Baird, Jack Shaw and Finn Matheson who will be going to the School Reach Junior Nationals in Moncton, New Brunswick next month with Ms. Burry. A note of interest is that these students will be selling French Fries from the Cavendish Fry Truck next Tuesday, April 28th to help raise funds for the registration and accommodations in Moncton.

Bike Workshop – We will not be hosting the bike workshop tomorrow due to lack of interest. This event will not be rescheduled. 

Flag Football Tryout – Boys and Girls sign up outside the gym. The first tryout for boys and girls is today after school from 3-4 pm.

Grade 8 and Grade 9 band students - your $10 payment for The Wizard of Oz is due today. Please see Mrs. Sorensen at morning break today.

Easter Seals Fundraiser – Early Lunch for Easter Seals. Students can buy 10 minutes of lunch for $2.00. Our goal is full school participation! Bring in your toonies to support this great cause! If we get to $1000, lunch will be extended from 11:40 to 1:00.
