Congratulations to Awsaf Sarowar won the 39th Provincial Spelling Bee 2026 competition in the Intermediate category (from Gr. 7 – 9). Last year he placed 4th at the national Spelling Bee. We wish you all the best as you continue to the Nationals once again. 

Drama Club – If the members of “Earth’s Interstellar News” could meet with Mr Coleman in his classroom during second period, with your teacher’s permission. Please bring your scripts.

Wizard of Oz Musical – Grade 7 students and band students are reminded to bring in their $10 for the musical. Students must have their payment in to their homeroom teacher by Tuesday, April 21st. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Burry or Ms. MacKinnon.

Girl’s Flag Football Tryouts - ALL girls wishing to tryout for Flag Football are asked to sign-up outside the gymnasium. Tryouts will start on Tuesday from 3-4pm and will continue Wednesday and Thursday. Please dress for the weather!

Boys Flag Football Tryouts - Sign up outside the gym. First tryout is tomorrow after school.

The ACTT for Life Presentations will begin in Grade 9 classes today. Presentations will take place with students' homeroom teacher in their homeroom class.

3rd Period: 9F with Mr. Byrne

Congratulations to the following students who took part in the Scholastic School Chess Tournament on the weekend. In the final Stonepark Team 1 of Owen Roberts, Sydney Phillips, Krishan Patidar, and Bennett Mader defeated Stonepark Team 2 members being Carter MacEwen, Xander Oakie, Ammarah Mohammad Anas, and Sunny Le. Congratulations to all on a well-played tournament.

Earth Day is this Wednesday, April 22nd! – It will be a fun day, where we can all feel good about doing our part to help the planet! Please consider participating in some of the initiatives (schoolyard clean up, lights out, educational class games).

Bike Workshop – On Wednesday we will host a Bike Workshop at the school from 1:50pm to 4pm in the cafeteria. The City of Charlottetown will provide free bike maintenance, a workshop on DIY bike maintenance and free pizza. Please sign up at the office. 

Toonies for Easter Seals - Bring a toonie to buy 10 minutes of extra lunch break.
