Lost and Found – The lost and found is now out on display. Please have a look and take what’s yours.
Lockers – All lockers MUST be cleaned out today. Each year the gift of sour chocolate milk or spoiled food gets left for us to discover upon arrival of the first day of the new year. Let's get this crossed of the list before Friday. Students should throw out any garbage and take any personal belongings (clothes, sneakers, electronics) home from their lockers for the holidays.
Green Team – The Green Team is asking everyone to Hold Onto Their Used Batteries this holiday season and save them for our annual Battery Blitz Competition in the new year!
The competition lasts 2 weeks and begins the first day we are back from Winter Break (Monday, January 6th). The homeroom class that brings in the most amount of batteries, wins a prize!!
Members of the Green Team will sort the batteries and send them off to a collection site to be properly disposed of. Good luck!!
Gymnastics – Can anyone who missed the meeting for the gymnastics team please see Mme. Duval to get their permission form.
Knits and Stitches Club – cancelled for today!
Library – the tiny books from the sign in the library have been removed, please, return them.
Student Social – Tonight is the Festive vs. Formal student social! Tickets will be $5 at the door, and the event goes from 6:30-8:30 PM, where you can dance, sing, buy snacks, play in the gym, try your luck on the Spin to Win wheel, or test out the new 360 degree photobooth!
Ice Cream Party – the ice cream party for the students who donated 5 or more items during the final week of the Food Drive will happen in the cafeteria at the start of 2nd period this morning, right after morning break. The guest list for this exclusive event has been sent out to teachers and is also posted on the whiteboard in the lobby. Student Council members are also invited to attend.
Christmas Sweater Day – if you wore an Ugly (or pretty) Christmas Sweater today, please go to the lobby at morning break if you want candy and a picture. We can do a voting contest again for the best one! On that note, you still have time to head over to the Instagram story at morning break or lunch today to vote in the Anything But A Backpack Instagram poll (prizes will be given out to winners tomorrow).
Door Decorating – the Christmas Door Decorating will wrap up Friday morning, when Student Council members will circulate to rate each homeroom’s door. The winning classes will have candy delivered to them on Friday afternoon, before they head to the hockey/ringette game! If any French homerooms did not get the tree for their classroom door, please send a student to get the materials from Ms. Poirier today, and have your class decorate the door before tomorrow morning.
Gym – Grade 7/9 today at lunchtime. The gym will be closed on Friday at lunchtime.
