Band – A reminder to Grade 8 and 9 band students. Please wash and return your band sweaters to Mrs. Sorensen by Friday, June 6.
All band camp registrations are due by Friday, June 6.
A reminder to Grade 7 band students – auditions are scheduled for today at lunch. Students should arrive at least 5 minutes before their audition time so they can warm up.
Freezies Sales – will take place during morning break in the foods lab from now until the end of June. Cash only. $1 to $2 per freezie. Sales will stop at 9:45 am because the freezies cannot go into classrooms. Any student council members interested in helping with freezie sales are asked to come see Ms. MacDonald during break.
Disc Golf – the disc golf team will be going to the course at Charlottetown Rural after school today. All players are asked to meet in the lobby at the end of the day, before going on transfer busses or to get a ride with staff members.
Student Council – student council members are reminded to go on Google Classroom and make slides for next week’s spirit days. Also, Greta, Brielle, Eva, Madelyn, Layne and Ola please go to the Foods Lab are asked to meet Mr. Roche in the Foods Lab at morning break today.
The Green Team will be on a field trip today, participating in a Shoreline Clean up. All members are asked wait in their classrooms until they are called down to the foyer after announcements.
Flag Football – Congratulations to our Grade 7 girls Flag Football team on an incredible season! Though they fell 26–6 to EWS in the semi-finals, their journey was marked by determination, teamwork, and growth. Each player contributed to a season filled with memorable moments and hard-fought games.
The grade 8 girls flag football team had a big night last night! Both games were close… the girls game out on top with a strong finish in their first game against Francois Buote, but came out short in a nail biter of a game, losing to Montague. Great season girls, see you all next year!
