We will have traditional indigenous dancing by Kinsley and Kiana on the stage in the cafeteria at break time today.
Band – The Grade 9 Honor Band students will rehearse today after school until 4:00.
Battery Blitz Competition – This is a reminder to all staff and students, that batteries can be dropped off at the Multi-Purpose room during morning break. For staff that do not have a homeroom you can donate your batteries to a class of your choosing. As of right now, Mrs. Martin’s class is in the lead with 184 batteries!
Yearbook – The Thursday crew of the yearbook will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, after school in the library. The session will end at 4h30.
Coding Club – There will be no meeting today for the coding club. Meetings will start again next week.
Basketball – The girls A team were within two points before Gulf Shore hit a three pointer to end the first half. We continued to compete but were defeated 36-24 in a good game. Our Girls continue to show improvement in each game. We will have a short practice today from 3:00 to 4:00.
The A boys had a convincing win over QC last night. The second unit came off the bench and set the tone for the game. Well done boys.
Gymnastics – Team practice today in the cafeteria from 3-4.
Intramurals – The gym will be open to grade 7/8 today and 7/9 tomorrow.
Reach for the Top – Grade 7 students will play tomorrow at lunch time in Room 330.
