From the library – There will be tutoring today from 3:30 until 5pm in the library. On Friday, tutors will be coming around to classes in the afternoon, feel free to ask them questions about the program.
There is now a job bank up in the library. Ms. Poirier can help you work on your resume and to apply, drop in at break, the beginning of lunch, or right after school.
School Reach – There is no School Reach for Grades 7 and 8 today as Ms. Burry is in meetings all day. It will be Friday at Lunchtime instead.
Lost and Found – if you have lost something and not sure where it is, check the Lost and Found table in the lobby. There are items there from the Grade 9 trip as well – things that were left on the buses.
Ski/Snowboard Club – The ski/snowboard club is making its next trip to Brookvale this week (Thursday February 19th). If you need a permission form or rental form, please stop by Ms. Horrelt's room (lower floor House 7). For more details, please check the school website, under the Extra-Curricular tab.
Coding Club - The coding club will meet today at lunch in Mrs. Reynard's room.
Pascal Math – There will be another Pascal math contest practice session today in Mr. Rooney’s room during Period 4. Please consult your 4th Period teacher before attending. The contest will be written next Wednesday morning, February 25th.
Tiger Basketball action today:
• The A Boys are on the road today for a 4:00pm start at East Wiltshire.
• Both AA teams are home this afternoon against Queen Charlotte. Game times are 4:00 for the girls and 5:30 for the boys.
Minor Officials:
• Mr. Acorn needs someone to do the scorebook and the 24-second clock for both games. Please see him in the lobby at morning break if you can help.
Drama Club - will be rehearsing this afternoon at 3pm. Remember to bring your scripts. We will meet in Mr. Coleman’s classroom.
Gymnastics – There will be a photo for the Bantam Boys and Bantam Girls gymnastics team at morning break tomorrow (Wednesday) in the gym. Please remember to wear your team T-shirt. Intermediate Boys, we have not forgotten about you, you will get your picture taken when your championship banner arrives.
Winter Wellness - Wednesday February 18, tomorrow, we will be having our winter wellness day here at the school. If you are new to the school or have forgotten (we didn’t have it last year, no snow,) each grade gets a period to go out to the bowl and play in the snow, sled and general shenanigans.
2nd period - grade 9s | 3rd period - grade 8s | 4th period - grade 7s
Any students who do not go outside will go to the cafeteria for a yoga class. No sleds on the bus they will have to be dropped off, make sure you put your name on it.
