Eid al-Adha is the second of the two main festivals in Islam alongside Eid al-Fitr. There may be a number of students missing from your classes today and possibly Monday.
If students are leaving during the day, parents must call the office to let Emily or Sarah know.
Grade 9 Semi – the grade 9 semi is scheduled for Friday, June 20th, and tickets are $25 each. The tickets can be bought online through etransfer, or they will be sold at morning break in the lobby next Tuesday and Wednesday (cash only).
Spirit Week – next week, Student Council has prepared the final spirit days of the year, with Tropical Tuesday, Neon Wednesday, Soccer Moms vs BBQ Dads on Thursday, and Socks, Crocs and Birkenstocks on Friday (which is also Outsiders day for grade 8s). Start planning your outfits now and stay tuned for a top-secret activity happening on Wednesday!
Flag Football – The grade 8 A boys flag football team won their first game yesterday but lost to first place QC, thus ending their season. Thanks to coach's Wayne and Parker. The boys have a very important meeting at morning break in the PE classroom. All must attend.
The grade 7 boys had 2 big wins yesterday and punched their ticket to provincials next Tuesday in Summerside. They defeated Vernon River 32-12 and then defeated the undefeated Gulf Shore team 32-12. Congratulations boys. They practice Monday 3:15-4:30.
