Cafeteria:
Cafeteria services have now started for the school year.

Band:
Grade 8 students who are auditioning for Saxophone, Percussion and Bass Clarinet: the audition information is posted in the band room. Please check the day and time you are auditioning next week.

Cross Country:
Cross Country  will run after school today rain or shine, Wed, Sept 29th.  


Golf:
The Boys/Girl's golf Teams had a great showing in Monday’s Qualifier at Country View.

Two Boy Teams made it through -
Team 1:  Cam Davison, Beckett Quinn and Liam Moore finished 3rd
Team 2:  Matthew Rooney, Will Dunn and David Redmond finished 7th

Girl's Golf Team:
Kali MacDonald, Jessi Doyle and Lauren Carmichael finished 3rd

Boy's Singles:  
Beckett Quinn          4th 
Will Dunn              T 8th 
Matthew Rooney   T 8th 
David Redmond      16th 

Girls Singles: 
Kali MacDonald      3rd 
Jessie Doyle            8th 
Lauren Carmichael  10th 
They will be on to the Provincials next Wednesday at Avondale Golf Course

Girls AA Soccer:
The Girls AA team won their home opener last night against Hernewood! Sophie Gallant opened the game with a beautiful goal in the first half from outside the 18-yard box. In the second half, Hernewood was hungry for a goal and tied it up, but Sophie Gallant quickly brought the Tigers back to the lead once again with a nice penalty shot goal. The Tigers dominated the play and showed that they are ready to compete this season!"

Girls AA -  will be practicing after school today from 3:15-4:30 on the front field. We will also be taking part in the SIS friendship tournament this weekend, so girls are reminded to check their schedule and arrive to all games 30 minutes before start time, to warm up. Our first game is Friday at 4:30 PM in Summerside, so girls are asked to be there for warm-up at 4 PM!"

Girls A Soccer:
Practice today after school in the bowl from 3:15 – 4:30

Boys A Soccer: 

The Boys A Soccer Team won their first game of the season defeating East Wiltshire 3-2. Goal scorers for the Tigers were Xander Goyetsch, Cal Baglole, and Carter Campbell (Earl's boy). Game MVP was versatile player Syd Jones who earned the win in nets who came up big for the Tigers. The boys next game is on Tuesday against Queen Charlotte at Simmons Field.

Boys AA Volleyball:
The AA boys volleyball team lost their season opener to Queen Charlotte by a score of 3 sets to 1 last night. There were a lot of positives to be taken from the game, but ultimately too many serving errors cost the team. The boys will practice after school today from 3-5.

Girls AA Volleyball:
The AA Girls volleyball were defeated by QC yesterday.  Practice today starting at 5.
 

Girls A Volleyball:
Girls A lost in the 5th set by 2 in the home opener.

Field Hockey:
The field hockey team tied QC yesterday 1-1.  Mia Lawlor had the goal.  The girls are to be dismissed at 2:30 today to catch taxi's at 2:40.  They play Birchwood today at 3:35.  Good luck girls!

Baseball Team:
Plays today against East Wiltshire at MacRae field.  Please be there for 3:45
