Boys AA Volleyball:
The boys AA volleyball team finished the provincial championships in 4th place on the weekend after losing to Summerside Intermediate 3 sets to 1 in the bronze medal game. The boys played hard all weekend, and despite the losses, the team still had a very strong season. Special thanks to the following grade 9 players who have played their last game for Stonepark volleyball: Aiden Murnaghan, Kayden Kelly, Ben Bulman, Ben Nogler, Miki Bain, Kristoff Guray, Nash Goodwin, and Deacon Allen. All players are asked to return their uniforms to either Mr. Bridges or Mr. Roche today, and the coaches will organize a final team party sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Girls AA Volleyball:
Congratulations to the AA girls volleyball team on their silver medal at the PEISAA Volleyball Championships. Celia Conahan was awarded the player of the game and Madelyn MacLean and Solen Trainor were named to the tournament all star team. Please drop off your warm up tops to Mr. Bridges.
Basketball Tryouts:
Basketball tryouts start today. AA boys go from 3-5 and AA girls from 5-7. If you cannot make a tryout for some reason please see Mr. Bridges today to let him know.
