From the Library - Anyone interested in being a library monitor is asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday, September 22nd at 12:18. You will find Ms. Poirier in the library and she will show you where to meet.
Soccer – There will be a Boys AA soccer team meeting in Mr. Dunn’s classroom today from 3-4.
There will be a try out for the “A” Girls Soccer team today from 3:15 – 4:30. This try out is open to all, even if you did not participate in the “AA” Soccer tryouts. If you cannot make it please let Ms. Pendergast know. A Girls soccer players can pick up their uniforms Monday at morning break in the Fit Pit.
The Girls AA Soccer final team roster will be posted beside the gym at break time this morning. We will have our first practice on Monday from 3:15-4:30. Thank you to all who came to tryouts! Pick up uniforms from Mr. Acorn tomorrow (Friday) morning at morning break in the Fit Pit.
A Boys soccer players can pick up their uniforms from Mr. Acorn tomorrow at 12:15 in the gym.
Boys Volleyball - both teams will practice tonight in the gym from 4:30 - 6 PM.
Student Council - all applications must be turned in before 3 pm today, and the 2026/27 Grade 9 Student Council should be posted tomorrow morning outside of the Foods Lab. Thanks to all who have applied already, and even if you are not selected for this year's Student Council group, you are still encouraged to get involved and take a leadership role around the school this year! For all students whose names are on the list tomorrow morning, there will be a quick introduction meeting in the Foods Lab at morning break.
The Green Team - The Green Team will be starting up soon! Stonepark’s Green Team is a group of students and teachers who are passionate about the environment, promoting sustainability and want to make a difference at our school and in our community! The Green Team is a great way to socialize with your peers and participate in projects that have a positive impact on the environment.

Band – Early Morning band rehearsals begin next week: Tuesday - Grade 8, Wednesday - Grade 7, Thursday, Grade 9. Please enter the school through the back doors by the gym. The doors will be open by 7:25 am. Go to your lockers to drop off your backpacks and coats, then go to the band room. Students are expected to be in the band room warming up by 7:35 at the latest. Rehearsal begins at 7:40 am.
The following Grade 7 band students are to meet Mrs. Sorensen in the band room on FRIDAY at 12:15:
