Flag Football Games
• Grade 8 Boys play at 3:40 and 4:30 on the turf in Cornwall
• Grade 7 Boys play at 6:30 and 7:20 at Francois Buote School
• All games will go rain or shine
• There will not be a practice today for the AA girls team.
Softball – The girls softball team will play Montague today at Mulberry Field. Game time is 4:30.
Grade 9 Class Representative (Valedictorian)
A reminder to all grade 9 students: if you’re interested in trying out to become the Grade 9 class rep (valedictorian), submissions are due in the Google Classroom on Monday, June 1. Candidates must submit their written speech online and then present their speech to the selection committee on Wednesday, June 3 (at lunch). For more info, join the Googe Classroom – the classroom code is posted throughout the grade 9 hallway.
Book Drive – For the rest of this week and all next week, a couple of students from 9C will be collecting books for a Book Drive. Whether it be old ones that you’ve already read, or even just some you might have in a shelf or closet somewhere, all the books can be dropped off in boxes in the office. All the books will be donated to a non-profit organization called the P.E.I. Literacy Alliance. Please donate any books you no longer need, if possible, to support this project!
