The Wizard of Oz Musical – This happens today for all Grade 7 students and Grade 8 and 9 Band Students. The day will start as usual – students will go to their first class then return to homeroom for jackets and to meet their homeroom teacher at 9:05. Grade 8 and 9 Band students go to the cafeteria for Bus instructions. Because there is no intermission, students can eat a quick snack (like a granola bar or banana) at that time as well. Students are to sit with their class/teacher and/or chaperone. All cellphones are to be safely stored in their lockers.

Girls A Flag Football – Our Tier 1 Tigers recorded two impressive victories last night. Our Tigers led Birchwood 7-6 at the half and roared to a 27-6 victory. In game two, our Girls defeated Queen Charlotte 27-0. Throughout both games, our offence moved the football incredibly well and our defense was strong by recording several interceptions including a “pick six.”
Our Tier 2 Tigers scored on the last play of the game to earn a 12-12 tie against Gulf Shore. In game two, it was all Tigers as they recorded an impressive 25-2 victory over East Wiltshire. These Girls battled on every play and should be proud of their continued improvement on both sides of the football.
Both teams will practice today from 3:00 to 4:30 on MacLeod Field.
