Week One - Tuesday, May 7

Special announcement for you grade 8s! Are you a leader? Would you like to make a difference for your peers? Would you be willing to volunteer one hour a week to help others? Well, we have an excellent opportunity for you. The Bagel Barn is recruiting volunteers for the 2024-2025 school year. If you think you are interested, get an application form from M. Valois in grade 9 (upstairs) or Mr. Acorn in grade 7 (upstairs).  You have until Friday, May 10th to apply.

Student Council – There will be no freezie sales today at break, but they will start again tomorrow. 
There will be a Student Council for the first 20 minutes of 4th period today.

Choir – Choir is cancelled for today and will be rescheduled for Thursday, May 9 from 3:00 – 4:00

Softball – There will be a girls softball tryout today at Mullberry Field from 3:15-4:30. 

Tutoring – will be held upstairs in the grade 8 wing, the first classroom on the left today.

Flag Football – The grade 7 girls have their first league games today. The grade 7 girls will go by taxi to Cornwall. Please meet in the gym right after school.
Grade 8 Girls - Our Tigers play two games tonight at Francois Buote starting at 5:20. Players are asked to be at the field at 4:45. There will be a brief meeting in Ms. R’s room at morning break. Good luck ladies!!
Grade 7 boys have practice today from 3:15 to 5:00.

The AA flag teams faced some tough competition last night in what is going to be a very competitive flag league this year.  The girls beat Birchwood and lost a 2-point game to Montague.  The boys tied QC 2 and lost a winnable game to Montague.  

Intramurals – The gym has grade 8/9 at lunchtime today.  Grade 7/8 on Wednesday 

Yearbook – The grade 8 members of the yearbook will meet tomorrow, May 8, after school in the library. The session will end at 4h30.
